A Rainy Day on Tasha's Porch

Another little miniature snippet video...hope you enjoy the view from Tasha's porch during tea time on a rainy day. Green as far as the eye can see! It sure isn't raining this week, because we've hit a heat spell, but we sure have had a rainy summer this year.

  1. Thank you, Natalie! It rained while I was on the tour last year and I wanted so badly just to go sit on the porch for awhile....

  2. Thanks Natalie for sharing this, I love the sound of a soft rain and could imagine an aroma of sweet smells from all the greenery of Tasha's garden. She is greatly missed I am sure, by all.

  4. I love how the rain makes everything so green. It would be so nice for a chance to rock on that porch enjoying a rain shower. Thank you for the video.

  8. It was a torrential rain the day we toured this past June but only added to the beauty of the lovely gardens. Thanks so much for bringing back the memories.

  11. Beautiful Natalie...no narration needed...just the sound of the rain and the view of Tasha's porch/garden/trees in the distance. Wish it had rained last year during our tour. Looking forward to visiting again. Maybe a Fall tour? Meanwhile...more videos, please! The Shaffer family of CA

  19. Thank you for the relaxing video! I love rain barrels, especially those made of wood. One would think they were all wooden, but alas no...the ones they sell in the hardware stores are plastic! : /
It has been a very wet summer here in Virginia as well. Everything is lovely and green which is very unusual for this time of year. My garden faired very well except for the pesky leaf footed bugs that ruined most of my tomato crop.
    Have a wonderful day!
